I have a client that has purchased 12 canvas prints for a large office area. 2 scenic photos, 3 underwater photos, 3 bird photos and 4 big cat photos. The smallest size is 20 x 25 and the largest is 36 x 48.

I went to see them hanging today and was asked for business cards as there has been inquires about them. I am one happy camper.

Congratulations on your success! Don't let the client put the big cats too near the birds.

Very cool!

I actually enjoy checking out the stuff hanging in offices, medical facilities and such. The fact that they tend to choose images with a good visual appeal, not necessarily going for an emphatic "artsy" or abstract look, well, it can be encouraging!

Thank you ohlook. Tony the dentists office where my photos are is the best office I have ever been in. Her son is a photographer (scenic) and her office has always been full of his canvas prints. When she wanted to change some he was busy on location so she asked me for some. Going for a visit to her office is like going to a art gallery, there must be about twenty prints on the wall.

Cool!

Odd as it may sound, a very nice "venue" for viewing a good number of nature/landscape/scenic photos has been the Emergency Room waiting area of a local hospital. I've been there a number of times, for others and in my older years some for myself, and I always find myself checking out the pics!

As you said cool. Having visited the Vancouver area I can see where they would have a lot of nature photos up but in my area all the medical facilities have the generic posters up, you know the, type, got them on line or at Wal-Mart etc etc read cheap. Personally I think these places where you have to Waite a long time would benefit from some good nature photos on the walls, especially if they are from a local photographer, Staff and patients more pleasant.
I hope the dentist puts the word out amongst other medical facilities in the area.

Tony the dentists office...

I've often thought that they should have images on the ceiling!

In one of the Detroit area hospitals, they spent a ton of money to put original art, including photographs, in the halls & patients rooms. I was surprised that they had the budget for that.
