Yesterday I had some troubles with my S2 IS. I tried to take a few picture outside (it was sunny), but the first pictures were way overexposed and blurry... It did so in P and Portrait mode, as well with Macro mode enabled. I rechecked all the settings and functions, turned the mode wheel in case it was "stuck" in Av or M, to no avail... Later I was able to get some pictures that were looking ok, but upon looking at them on the computer, I noticed a kind of "blur", which were caused by vertical lines when zoomed in.

100% crop of the line effect:

I've already shot a lot of times in sunny weather, never noticed anything like this... What else could it be?

I just tried again, inside and with/without flash, pictures look normal. Weird.

Edit: I deleted the overexposed ones, I will try and recover them and check the EXIF in case...
