Male Sparrow Hawk in the garden giving the area the look after a failed hunt.

I have to say I'm amazed he missed, lots of newly fledged House Sparrows and Starlings in the garden when he popped in.

Nicely captured Kev!
Pretty pose and yes, those eyes are always on the lookout.
Fun for us to watch, but a terror on the wing for the songbirds. I'd bet he doesn't miss that often.
