Hello! Hadn't been out shooting for a loooong time. Finally I'm glad to have more spare time this year.


Anybody know the ID of this?! I've never seen a hard shell hopper!
It looks like a product of a planthopper going naughty with a ladybug. heehee.:-D

Excellent captures.

Can't help with the ID, though.

I've seen (and have) shots of cicadas feeding, but not many hoppers; nice job. The last three shots are especially good.

It's the opposite for me, the cicadas here in Hong Kong are usually high up on the trees or dead on the ground lolll.
planthoppers are everywhere here, but they are very camera shy.
