All of these were shot with a 35mm Elmarit @ f8 w/7mm extension tube.
These are called Florida Predatory Stink Bugs, I am not sure how they kill their prey or what the victim beetle might be, but it appears that they drink the fluids out of the beetle.
Here we have some ants which I noticed swarming at the tip of a field weed in my pasture, After taking a few shots and coming inside I realized that they are after a group of aphids sharing the plant. Too bad I cannot take the magnification up to 2:1 with this setup

This image of a dandelion shows the connection between the flower and the seeds which connect them to the flower. It took me several shots and 10x zoom in live view to preserve focus just right on the area where the flower connects to the dandelion seeds, it really is quite amazing how these flowers reproduce.

This mushroom was tiny! It's surrounding neighbors are much larger and I was lucky to even get an image of this because the squirrels usually eat them within a day of a long rain. I believe this is an amanita variant.
