Some really wonderful participation and interpretations of this week's theme!

The title for this one is "34" :p

Very nice, Tim. If you intend to show it in a gallery, you might want to fancy it up to impress the art crowd. I suggest retitling it "Thirty-four."

Thank you for the kind comments. This shot was rather serendipitous. I had an early physical therapy appointment this morning and as I was leaving the doctors office I reminded myself that I needed to get a better minimalist shot. Looking up at the medical building, the light on the 34 caught my eye...and it all came together. I love it when that happens! :-D

Been too busy to plan any shots as others have. Threw a camera in my truck and as I was arriving home from work took this shot as I ran for cover. I was nearly too late as it had already passed over me and I was getting pelted by light debris, didn't try very many camera settings on this one.

What a great week this is. The theme really inspired people to be creative and I truly love all the contributions. Just wonderful stuff all around.

OhLook, sorry about the different shades of red. I learned from my ex-husband that tiles, like wallpaper, should be bought from the same batch with the same number as each colour bath / print will be slightly different. But I'm sure the difference will fade away in time!! I hope your cold is getting better? Take care of yourself.

Here's another attempt at minimalism from me.

Levina, the tile was in the BATs OldTimers thread. It wasn't minimalist enough for here. Fading to uniformity would be nice, but I don't expect it. These tiles aren't glazed. The color comes from a paper backing behind the glass. First batch of red, the glass was slightly green; second batch, the glass was clear. The manufacturer shouldn't sell these as the same color! Maybe I can take a minimalist picture of a tile later. I made the purchases on the advice of the lead carpenter, who acts as the project manager. This man is big and loud and confrontational. He sounds just as confident when he's wrong as when he's right.

I hope your cold is getting better? Take care of yourself.

It's getting better, thanks.

Another good one. Of course.

Another creative shot Renata, nice.

Good one Tim.

That's one mean looking cloud Steve. A roll cloud?

Interesting composition Levina.

My second minimalist photo. Didn't see the second rainbow but the camera did.

More great shots from everyone!

While getting my coffee ready for this morning, I came up with an idea for this thread. :-)

That's a nice rainbow, Don. Isn't it odd to not see the second one until looking at your images on the big screen? The camera really does see quite a bit more than the human eye.

Stina, that is brilliant and I love it!

I mixed up threads??! How did that happen? Hmmm...
But glad to learn you're getting better.
And thanks for the nice words.

Thank you too, Don.

More nice shots from everyone!

Kevin.. Nice cloud and love the bird on a pole in the bottom corner!

Steve.. Is that like a tornado or something? It is really dark and threatening! Hope you are OK…

Levina, There you go, taking simple objects and turning them into art! Very nice shot.

Don – I have also have that phenomenon happen.. You see more after you get the shot on the computer!

Stina – I like that shot! Cool Beans!
