Can someone tell me how to make the models skin whiter in photoshop CS6?

Can’t get much whiter/fairer than the skin she in now.. much more ‘lighter’ and things will be washed out. Maybe more of an explanation on what you want?
Or, copy her, second layer, mask, uncover her skin, and adjust the sliders to get it whiter?

My favorite to modify just parts of an image are Adjustment Layers for local changes to color & density. (external link)
