From Mark's Outing in San Antonio, the Ice Cream Burger! It's a regular 8oz burger... with a scoop of fried ice cream added! Chocolate, in this case, though it's available with strawberry or vanilla as well. All are delicious. Everyone's skeptical when I tell them about it, but it's like having a milkshake built right into the burger. My only wish is that they'd make it with the ice cream formed into a patty instead of a ball, so it'd be arranged better. Curious what you all think!

These are two tastes that go well together, but not necessarily in my mouth at the same time.

Photo looks good though!

Ha, I'm actually with you! The photo was originally just to show my family, who didn't believe me. Only shared it here to see what everyone thought of it. Certainly not some of my best work.

That is an interesting concept... and you are right that it would have been better if the ice cream is shaped like the patty instead :D. Would be evern more awesome if they add bacon on it :D

I had the strawberry, once, for posterity. It is definitely:

chocolate > vanilla >>> strawberry

And that's coming from a guy who loves strawberry.

Interesting. There's a place here in Athens that sells a burger called The Memphis that has peanut butter on it. Surprisingly it's really good and one of their best sellers.

There is a local place here that sells a burger on a pretzel bread with peanut butter and coleslaw. Haven't had it myself but my buddy says it's awesome.

Thinking about how this might taste instantly transported me back in time to the early 1970's, where as a hamburger deprived child, I would, on rare occasions, find myself at Hardee's Charbroiled Hamburgers .... rapid consumption of the 50 cent burger, fries and a small chocolate shake would sometimes inadvertently cause an in mouth collision of the three food elements and life was good.

Thanks for the memories.

I like burgers and milk shakes. In my case it's In and Out Burger.
