I had a t3i with my roki i bought here on the forum for months and it worked great with the AF confirm chip installed by the previous owner. However, when i got the 60D all of a sudden the chip wouldn't confirm? Is this normal, or perhaps a setting that is different between the two bodies, anyone heard of this? If i can't get it working, I'm probably going to have to give up on the lens since my work flow is just too slow with MF. Let me know

Heya,

Just change your viewfinder to a precision matte, and you're good to go. (external link)

I focus with my Sammy 85 F1.4 via these screens and I nail focus just fine at F1.4 without any confirmation chip stuff. These screens let you focus via depth of field, so it's much easier and designed for fast lenses.

Very best,
