The "Round Hall" inside the Vatican Museum completed in 1779. Designed to mimic the Pantheon, the walls display a series of statues in niches surrounding the room. At the center of the room, a bathtub made of red porphyry said to be used by the Emperor Nero.

Underground of Munich -Germany-

I am frequently amazed by the attractiveness of subway/underground stations
and platforms outside of the US, and these are a good example of that.

Does anyone have pictures of Moscow's stations?
I've read about them and seen a few pictures.
Some look like the palaces of monarchs and kings.

I have been to St. Petersburg and there are some interesting metro stations there too. Unfortunately I have not done photography for many people.... I add others from Munich

Looking at these photos of the Munich subway makes me think of Le Corbusier's "a house is a machine for living." A subway is a machine for short-range travel. How does this artistry affect the riding experience of the people who use the subway? Think of, for example, a woman who is traveling alone at night. Does it make her feel safer, more comfortable?

I've been wanting to capture one of the hotel shots for quite some time. Nothing amazing, but I am internally compelled to post it :) .
