Does something like this exist? Ive been wanting to offload my 600ex flashes for something cheaper like the YN560IV however the YN560IV doesnt have red beam assist. Is there a hotshoe adapter with a red beam assist that has a pass through for a on camera 560IV?

A YongNuo YN-622C might be my only option? I could get it and just use it for the red beam and pass through and not its wireless functions? I could get an all YN622C setup but i really dont want to go back to triggers if at all possible.

The YN-622C will work for you but why not just get another flash like the YN-565 that has focus assist?

Heya,

YN 622 will do what you want. (external link)

And if you want to just pass through to some 560III's or 560IV's, you can just put a 560TX or RF603C in the shoe of the YN622 and pass the signal that way?

Very best,

YN565 wont do wireless triggering. I just need a 1:1 swap with my 600ex. Looks like getting a 622 trigger just for its pass through and red beam assist could be the only way.

YN does make a standalone AF beam unit but that doesnt have a pass through, too bad.
