Hey folks,
the last 8 months I had the chance to travel through New Zealand, and so it happened that I lived for about 7 months in my car on the south Island. Hiking, Photographing, Camping to name few activities :)

I wrote a Travel Log about my days in middle earth, my Blog (external link) is available in English too (but don't take the translation too serious - powered by google translate ;) )
I post behind the scene captures and pictures on my Instagram - Follow me if you like (external link)

Whatever, I journeyed through mountains, lakes and glaciers always with my 5D3 and a 24mm and 50mm prime. Enough said, time for some pictures :)

Had a 6D....
Then had a daughter....
Now have an SL2 and Mavic Pro.... Man life changes.
I would encourage you... To just go for it.

Beautiful! I've lived in NZ since birth (1979) and I've never been to the South Island. I have been to Germany though :)

I would love to see some of your tips for Post Processing

Fine pictures, thank you very much! You have a very good eye. My partner is from New Zealand (North Island) but she's lived here in Britain for many years. We've had some good trips through the South Island and I look forward to looking at your pictures with her.

Alles Gute,

Nick

Great photos! I'm in the early phases of planning a trip there next year. Your photos truly are inspiring.
