Sorry if this is harsh. 1, 2 and 15 are never going to hang on a wall. Why would you even show 2? I can't imagine the bride wanting that out in the world.

having a pic pf the dress and putting it on is always apart of the shoot list I do think that the execution fell off a bit. #1 is a strange angle for that dress and in #2 there must be a better shot if her putting the dress on without grabbing herself.

Just because it doest belong on the wall doesnt mean it doesnt go in the album or part of the day

so true. Women always want pictures where they look good. But the OP said ..it's HIS favorite NOT the bride's favorite.

Erm I don't know any men that would like rubbish photos of themselves either.

This industry is too heavily focussed on the bride, its the grooms big day too!
Despite the feigned interest during the planning, the guy is typically the one to first think "I want to marry this girl" and then get the ring and then plan a proposal. The grooms have a vested interest in this wedding too.

You guys crack me up. :) Here is the full set. I just picked interesting images because 8 from a few hundred is silly. Also, I like the boob grab image. :)

I took a look. Most are fantastic and you never put them in the original post. Why is it today most posts have to be so over the top with flash flare and couples darkened so much you don't even know who the heck it is yet its what everyone posts first. Some of those candid's of the bride and groom are much better. Did a great job. Show those off. Not a shot with three flashes going off making me wince. Did not do justice to your set. You should be very proud of that work.

Thanks for the compliments! I post the "different" shots because nice candids and bridal/groom portraits are boring to us photographers, at least to me anyway. If I posted this set to the public or FB, I would have chose much different photos.

As previously stated...they're your favorites - no need to justify or apologize for that.

Your work is fantastic. Whether your clients enlarge them and hang them on the wall, or put them in one of those cheap digital picture frames that distorts the heck out of anything you put on it...the quality of your photography isn't dependent on how much or little your clients spend on keepsakes.
