Air Tankers in Medford, OR

Had air tankers in Medford this past week for fires. 161 is still here and is waiting for good conditions so it can fly.

I would love to see one of these DC-10 tankers in real life sometime, but I'm afraid that won't happen anytime soon:-P

Nothing interesting in Medford if that's what you mean. Tanker 161 left for California later in the evening the day I took these. And 912 left for California the morning after.

Seems Most of the Air Tankers are down in California, Nevada and some up in Alaska at the moment with 1 or 2 at Moses Lake in Washington.

Medford was busy today following yesterday's thunderstorms that caused some fires. Had 5 air tankers working a 100 acre (as of yesterday evening) fire near Lemolo Lake. Spent a little over an hour out there in 100° temperatures, these are my favorites.
