Hello all!
I recently bought a D7100 and upgraded from my D3000.
I have the following gear list:
35mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8, 85mm 3.5, 10-20mm, 18-55, and a 55-200 or something (kit).

What got me into photography was light painting, I saw it online and actually started talking to a guy on facebook who we became facebook friends and talked photography and he helped me out with starting off and we are now actually good friends in person! (and I bought my 10-20, 35mm and d7100 from!) Hes nothing but full of information and an excellent photographer for only being a hobby!

I am shooting in Aperture priority, still learning when to low/higher and what the "sweet spots" are. Plus sort of learning a new camera!

I will probably get a lot of hate for this, but I have had a few younger friends get married and they couldn't afford a professional and they just wanted some shots during their weddings that I have done. I really wish I had a flash for the last wedding I did so I could of been shooting faster shutter speeds and not having a little blur in some photos. (But hey she loved the pics)

TLDR: Ignore everything above its just history about me and photography. Im sorta new, and getting into learning more with a bunch of decent gear. THE REAL QUESTION IS BELOW.

I have $300 dollars from a few portrait sessions I have done for friends and I tend to toss my money back into photography.
I came across the PixelStick which looks incredible! It looks like a BLAST and I would really like to have it and have it to play with and just enjoy. (As said before light photography got me into this)
They cost about 350, 375 after shipping to where I live. Which is a little steep, but hey its pretty cool!
Then the SB-700 is my other option, I have no clue about flash... And obviously still a noob at photography and that stuff, would it be worth it for me? Are they that hard to learn? ( I would be taking a class on it too, taught by a professional)

TLDR. SB-700 FLASH or PIXEL STICK.

:) Let me know what you guys would do or suggest
