Hi everyone, sure hope someone has an answer to this.

I use Canon 10D, L lens & shoot RAW. I have Breezebrowser & Adobe CS. When I open any kind of image in BB, whether it is RAW, Tiff, Jpeg, the image looks great! I shoot a lot of birds, White Pelicans/Brown Pelicans. The whites are excellent, the feather detail is outstanding & the luminence quality is great! When I open the same image in Photoshop CS, again whether it is RAW, Tiff, Jpeg, the image degrades every so slightly. I lose the luminence quaility, the detail loss is noticable. I have tried every setting in BB to convert my RAW & I have tried every setting in PS CS to get the same quality as I get in BB. It seems to me that the Adobe Browser maybe corrupted...is that possible? Does anyone have an answer to this because I can't stand the fact that I'm not posting the image as good as it could/should be! I have also re-installed Adobe CS to no avail! What can I do? A big thanks to anyone that could answer this. Hazel

My first guess is that one of the two programs is not using the default color profile for your display--I'm not at all familiar with BB, but CS certainly defaults to using the profile. Worth checking both settings.

Edit: while you're at it, check to see what each program does to images with no embedded profile. You shouldn't be getting images with no profile straight out of the camera, but good to know what each programs behavior is.
