First post in this section, I think, and I've been meaning to shoot these silos for the past ~5 years. So finally went over at sunrise on Saturday morning. My processing is all over the map (it was fun 
), but seems there are a lot of approaches, from gritty to warm to flat to B&W to....just about anything. Two of the shots are HDR, which was the only way I could capture the scene.
The area boasted rice as its agricultural base and the location of these silos sits on old Kansas-Texas railway line. The K-T abbreviation gave rise the city's current name: Katy.
