Hi everyone,

I recently picked up an A7s and using it with a Commlite adapter with my Sigma 50 ART (Canon mount). I may be wrong but why can't I activate the MF focus drive on this combination? I'm shooting in M mode so I can control the settings and focus peaking is on. When I go to change the focus drive, only AF-S is lit up and the rest are greyed out. Do I need to get a new adapter or does this feature only work on native lenses?

I'm actively lazy!! :D | Gear List | photovxn.com (under construction)external link

The Commlite EF->E-mount adapter is a little quirky. I have the A7R, A7S and A7 II. The Commlite adapter works with all my Canon EF lenses but won't work properly with my Sigma EF mount lenses? Not sure why? Maybe the Sigma EF mount is not totally Canon EF compatible but one would think if it works on a Canon body it would work with an adapter?

I also have Metabones III and King adapters. Both work with all my EF mount lenses.
