So, I know this is mainly a Canon forum, but I jumped ship to the A6000 to lighten my load and maintain performance.
I don't want to take more than 4 lenses to keep weight down.
Here is what I'm thinking.

To pick between these two
Rokinon 8mm 2.8 fisheye
Rokinon 12mm 2.8 ultra wide

(Might lean toward fish-eye because it's easier to keep manual focus, and I can always remove distortion. Downside is no filters)

Then my 16-50 kit
my 55-210
(Both are inexpensive, so I'm ok with damage/theft/loss but have excellent optics, are lightweight and compact)

And either
135 f2
55 f2
50 1.7
35 1.7

What would you guys bring?

I'd check out what Mark Wallace (from Adorama TV fame) is up to as he is on a several year adventure around the world and has ditched his dSLR gear and has transitioned to a mirrorless setup. He has a blog but doesn't post to it much, but does have some great information on what he is carrying and why on his Facebook page.

If you're one of those guys that cut the handle off your toothbrush to save weight, I don't think I'd take the ultra wide lenses. You can always take two shots & stitch them together, no?
I'd take the 16-50 kit, 55-210, & maybe the 35 1.7.

Have fun!

There was a recent article in Outdoor Photograper of a similar trip and the author only took either the Sigma or Tamron 18-250. Author was very happy with this combination.

I found that when I m traveling I tend to go wide. In my last trip I bought a 6d, 1740, and a light tripod.
