.

I really really like the overall look and feel of these images. There is something so cool looking about images that have such an incredibly even tonality. According to my tastes, the first image is best when it comes to evenness of tone, but the second image is best when it comes the subject's expression. If only you could have gotten that expression with a brighter background - that would have been perfect! Why? Because it looks best when she DOESN'T stand out from the background. having the subject and the background with the same tonality helps to re-enforce the low-contrast concept.

I really wish that I could find more opportunities to photograph wildlife in conditions exactly like these.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I really like the first one, but I would adjust the skin tone a bit so that it doesn't match the background, and she will stand out a bit more.

Also a tighter crop IMO would be nice.
