Hi All, i finally have had the chance to process my shots from the entire WWII Weekend. This was the 25th anniversary show, so I decided to go all three days and saw some spectacular sights. I got to test out the new Sigma 150-600 Sport lens, and let me tell you it is a beauty! It is certainly hard to only pick 8 shots to display, but here you go...let me know what you think:

C-46 Commando with the WWII Airborne Demonstration Team

I was shooting with the Sigma 150-600 Sport on my Nikon D4s, and also my Nikon D810 with the Nikon 80-400, so a combination of those two lenses.

A wonderful set you have on flickr. Good to see what the Tamron can do.

I was there for the Sunday Show.....Great shot of the P-51 Redtail. Were you on the field for the Paratroopers? It looks like you were just below them. Always love seeing the Corsair. The highlight of the show for me was the Grumman Hellcat.....that was a Badass plane.....or the pilot was Badass....or both.

nope, I was on the fence right by the P-51 ride tent, just was able to zoom right in on them
Greg Shelton certainly does know how to put the Wildcat through the ringer that's for sure!

I'll echo Pagman. I really like that B-17 shot.

It looks like you had a great selection of warbirds to shoot, too.

Everybody Wang Chung tonight.

So was the B-17 in real distress or was it just show smoke?

Right on. Guess I had Tamron on my mind.

I'd like to rent the Sigma some day. Actually, I'd like to rent both the C & S versions, to see how they compare.
Some where on the net it was reported that the S was slighty sharper than the C version.
