Jun 17, 2015 08:32 | #2 Nice shots! I love the editing. Nice and crisp images, the lighting on the car looks great and pretty even with good highlights. The only thing I don't like is that it's so dark behind the car, maybe doing a flash to the ground back there a little would help that? Just a thought. The background already competes with the car for my attention & usually, unless it's something relating to the car, like a race car on a race track, the less I see of the background growing out of the car, the better I like it. For instance: 2011 Chevy Cruze Sedan LS FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...

Yeah I understand that, I personally don't like how the ground has such a strong light and then goes almost straight to darkness. Doing a soft flash to the ground only or maybe reducing the intensity of the existing light on the ground at the back wheel would help lead into the darkness more softly rather than abruptly. I have a version where the light spill isnt there. i understand what you mean. but i like the version where you can see where the lighting on the car comes from. I think a balance between the two would please me. Lol. I'm probably just being a little too complicated. I have never made a successful attempt at a shot like this, I know it's harder than it looks. I just know if I were to attempt it, I would try to create a balance of the two. Canon 5D Mk II Gripped | 50mm STM | 17-40L | 85mm 1.8
