Another photo of the interesting stork billed. Went to the zoo to shoot animals but found this little fella perched above the lions' enclosure.

What a colorful and fascinating looking kingfisher Gene!
I'm guessing that he was not part of the lion exhibit, at least in the zoological sense, but was there checking out their watering hole. How interesting!

Haha, nice. Go to zoo to see something exotic, local wildlife ends up being more interesting. :) We have some kingfishers here in the US, never managed to get a decent shot of one, soooo skittish!
