Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Wow the High ISO looks much better than I thought it would! I am looking forward to seeing more bird photos with the 5DR

since you asked - just took a shot in a half dark room

100 L at F8, SS 1/13, ISO 12000

First image:
- straight out of camera
- Default Sharpening
- Profile correction

Second image:
- raised 1 Stop in LR
- Shadows brought up and some other small adjustments
- NR applied
- read the label on the Glenlivet
- this is not a Sony A7S, not even close, but it is better than I thought it was going to be at high ISO with NR

I had no idea they'd be this good at high iso. Canon understated this camera just a little bit.

Dang.. I may have to get one.. I had resisted the urge quite easily up till now.

The computer is holding me back.. have a serious need for some RAM for these files!

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.
