I was so depressed this morning that I had to spend $13,500 dollars yesterday to replace my entire HVAC unit that I had to get out to shoot a few pics this morning.
I guess the Quail felt bad for me and decided to hang around a couple times.

I just had a whole family of these hatch in my yard. The female made a nest under my recycle garbage can. I couldnt move it for 3 weeks. LOL. But all but 1 egg hatched and they made their way out into the world. Hopefully they'll be back for me to photograph. Until then, I have these 3 quail.
These are in my backyard.

LOL cool thanks for the info, The reason I asked is because I might sell/trade my tamron and buy a used 100-400mm mk1 so I can have the 500mm on the tripod and have the 100-400mm handhold but still thinking about it.

BTW A/C is better than a new toy :) even though I live in Seattle it could really hot in here during summer.

I'm going to sell mine I think.
It's gonna be hard to let go because it has served me so well but the lure of a bigger lens is so tempting.
I may get a sigma 150-600. So the price difference between selling my canon and buying the sigma should be about $200. I can swing that.

Thanks Al.

By the way, the site now automatically lists the EXIF data. I really like it. I think EXIF is valuable for those learning and those looking into equipment to buy. It gives us an idea what each tool is capable of in the right and wrong hands.

The HVAC is surely a bummer. That's life.

They came to offer their support, buddy. Think it worked a bit. Old gear (that some of us still use) can still deliver the goods as shown. Good shooting, Jeremy.

I know you won't think so but I see $13.5K well spent. Great shots!
