In this case, a beautiful sunrise from Haleakalā National Park in Maui, Hawaii... Woke up at 2am to make our way up the summit of the mountain at a little over 10k above sea level... It was cold, dark, and windy... But all was good, as the sun started to rise above the horizon and fill the skies with magnificent colors these eyes have ever seen... Truly a wonderful experience that I'll have for the rest of my life... The image below doesn't do it justice, but you can get a jist of what it entailed... Canon 5DsR + 16-35L2 + Lee 105mm CPL and Lee 0.9 Soft Edge GND Filter (stacked)... ISO 100, f/5.6 @ 0.3sec exposure... ![]() VERY nice. Beautiful colors and contrast, and the layer of clouds is awesome. Canon R5 plus all RF-mount lenses: Canon 24-105/4, 35/1.8 STM, and 100-500/L/4.5-7.1, plus Laowa Venus 15/2 Zero-D.. Gitzo GT-3533S Systematic tripod with leveler and Rogeti geared head.
