Hello, GerdW!
The first one (Carduelis carduelis) we call STICLETE (Don't know the English name).
The second (Sturnus vulgaris) is GRAUR (Starling in English, if I am correct).
What are their names in Deutsch?
Thank you.

Hi taxon,
here are the German namens:
The first one has even two names. :-)
We call him Distelfink or Stieglitz
In English it is the Goldfinch I believe.

The second one is called Star.

Best regards,
Gerd

Balloons are great fun. Southwest not so much. Nice timing of the shot.

I'm jumping in here to ask if the 5ds is worth adding to the bag. The reason I'm asking is our local shop has them on sale. I have a 5d4 and 6d already and don't really need another body but at almost $2000 off the list (Canadian) it is very tempting. I shot mostly landscapes and a bit of portraiture.

That's a great deal. If you can swing it, I'd say it's well worth the cost. And you'll capture beautiful photos for years to come.

I second Fotoi on this. The image quality is unbelievable and it'll be a great addition to your 5d4 and 6d. I'm currently running the 6D and 5DS. 6D is for low light, while the 5DS handles the rest. Between the two I can shoot anything I need to.
