Decided to give the 5DS a try and some macro shots rather than the 90D. Not surprisingly, this is a great macro body!

This is a baby mantis that would fit on my finger tip with ease.

One of the very first serious images with my Canon 5Ds R and the step up in quality from my Canon 5D classis/Mk 1 is insane.

There's a lot to learn and I'm beginning to see why people call this a difficult camera to work with, but I have a feeling it will be very rewarding once you master it.

Luckily there will be about 80 USAF choppers being transported through the harbor about 10 minutes from my house, so plenty of opportunity to put the camera (and myself) to the test ;-)a .
