Attaching the Mini TT1 to the 1DX (latest firmware) causes the LCD screen to go blank, This has never happened before, I upgraded the Mini TT1 to the latest firmware and the same thing happens. This firmware is made to work with the 1DX, not sure what I am doing wrong. The TT1 works fine on the 5D MKIII.

When this happens it requires the battery to be removed and reinserted for the 1DX to work again?

Have you tried just a flash on the camera and a TT5/flex?
