Model Shoot on the Beach Overcast

I had this shoot with Sierra a local model. I was hoping for golden hour type light but it became overcast. Im having trouble with PP on the images bc the lighting was so flat. C and C on anything tho

#2 is my fav, love her hair blowing in the wind.

They do seem a tad flat. I do not find #1 flattering & #4 seems unnatural/posed with the camera in her hand. If the camera was not in the picture, I would really like it.

Number 2 definately a favorite.. just a thought but have you thought of bringing down the highlights and whites in a grad filter and then erase the effect off her?

This is when you really need fill flash so you can control the ambient light.

Well the situation was very ironic. I knew I was going to be on the beach and was worried about sand and water damage so I brought my old stand, old trigger and old speedlight. I set it up and the trigger hot shoe bracket snapped off in the lightest breeze. *face palm*

I know my highlights were pulled way down but I'll play with the whites. Thanks

I also just got a color checker and edited from a calibration. I was using it for the first time so i might have been off to the wrong start

so this is one before my off camera fill broke. I still needed to tweak it a little but it broke secs after this.

I like the pose. I would clone out the hair in her eyes and the rusty fence post above her head.

Yea with catch lights it really changes the feel... Damn cheap triggers
