Thanks for posting those, I always wondered what a soapbox derby was like.
There was one planned locally but unfortunately it was cancelled so I never got to see one.
Looks a bit dangerous though

They do three runs down the hill, a straight speed run, a slalom and the last one over the jumps. No one seriously hurt tho.
