having had the lens for several months now i have got to the point where its pretty consistent in use ,virtually all my shots are taken hand held or with bean bag support .i use a canon 1dmkiii and a canon 70d with it and it all works for me ,since adopting a black rapid sling for walkabout i find its ready as needed and theres no weight penalty despite my advancing years .sigma really pulled a blinder with this lens and combined with the USB hub its a killer lens .couple of sample images below and lots more in the lens sample section thread near bottom of the forum.

changed systems to MFT olympus omd1-E.M1X , Olympus 100-400 zuiko .., xiaoyi 42.5mm f1.8 . four thirds mmm-2 ,, four thirds 11-22.. and pergear 60mm f2.8 macro

Thanks guys ,yep it's not been easy and I feel a better camera range would help .but I'm pleased with my results now

Very crisp shots. Could you check the exif that the system seems to extracting. Reporting as the Canon 100-400IS.

Apparently it's a fault on the way the forum reads the exif ,it has been reported
