I removed the protective cover on the from and back lens. When shooting with my Canon 7D on Auto Mode , the lens can not auto focus. I have tried with AV, TV and P modes and it seems to auto focus without any problems.

Thanks, I will try to work on that. Its from eBay in China. The seller says it works on a Canon 7D II.

The Yongnuo authorized seller jianisi-equipment is telling me that Yongnuo tested the lens with a Canon 7D II. The seller is telling me to get the Canon 7D II for this $116 lens. By a new camera so I can use a $116 lens?

Yes, but I would try it on another 7D as it has a unique AF system that also causes problems with AF confirmation chips on Manual Focus lenses.
