Sorry to resurrect an old thread - but recently (since I installed the latest version of Firefox) every few days my Firefox decides to reset all its settings to default (home page, tab settings, download folder etc) without any prompting. Its no real hassle, but annoying to have to reset everything.. any other Firefox users experienced similar? I am using version 1.5.0.1

Iv had older versions do that, for no known reason. I simply reinstalled it and the problem went away.

I still have an old CP/M machine, too. And it's a laptop, even...

My very first PC was a CP/M box (DEC Rainbow). It was a decent computer for its time, but suffered terribly from lack of software. I had Multiplan and a basic word processor. That was it.

A friend of mine was an engineer at Apple, and he took pity on me by giving me an early 128K Mac. WYSIWYG rules.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Nah, only worth it when choosing a better alternative. I did CP/M and it was Ok in its day but I am much happier with XP Pro or OS-X.
