just got my 5d2 back from cps, misfocusing ALOT

So I just had my shutter box swapped to a new one since the old one was getting up there in mileage and now all my lenses need a +20 backward focus adjustment in custom functions just to get near good focus. This normal? All my cameras basically have been plug and play ready to go in the past so this seems random. Caused me to mis focus all my shots during an event (BIG no no). You cant really tell photos are OOF in the camera LCD until you view it on comp.

Sounds like your focus is out of whack.

I'm not sure if this will help but I had an AF sensor replaced and it was better than the original AF sensor. Focus was spot on.

What I had to do was send the body in together with 2 of my lenses for calibration. Be cautioned that the lens that they calibrate your focus with will be the sharpest.

Otherwise, they will use their "control" lens which is usually a 50mm lens.

It may be a good idea to send it back to Canon for checks and calibration.
