Nice details Renata.

Good capture Doc. Timing is everthing.

I prefer the second one LHB.

My fence contribution:

I love wood 'n wire fences. Those posts really have a lot of lichens growing on them. It must rain a lot at this location.

Nice start of the week!

Renata, I like #3. Very pretty shot that.

Thank you Levina; funny, I wasn't looking for pretty shots; character, personality, story is what I was after but the local fences aren't really in that category.

Thank you, Don. Your fence has the characteristics I was looking for but couldn't find anything like that in a city.
I will be going to an animal shelter to get a new cat and hopefully I will see some "delicious" fences. Dreaming of something straight out of Harry Potter's...now, I shut up and keep dreaming :)

Thanks Doc. The fence is located on the Moses Cone Manor along the Blue Ridge Parkway. It does get a lot of rain there, more so than down here in the foothills. Many of the posts are rotted through and the wire on the ground. Luckily the cows haven't discovered those areas yet.

Thanks Renata.

Definitely a fence with character, Don. Composition, with the fence running diagonally and the view of that wonderful country in the background are great.
