One of the hardest weddings I've ever shot. Not because of the couple, they were awesome, rather because of the conditions. The wind was blowing 25-30 non stop, it rained on and off, the humidity was off the charts and it was hot. Salt spray kept fogging my lenses and / or condensation would fog my glass if I carried my gear back and forth from the air conditioned venue. I ended up keeping one camera and clean glass inside and the others outside.

Anyway, here are just a few from the day.

Nice series. Even though it was tough conditions it looks like the weather contributed to a very nice sky!!!

My sentiments exactly, and love the ceremony picture taken from afar. Really sets a mood with the waves and cloud cover.

Always be open to opinion especially if it's mine!

Yelp, just a terrific environment...

Hmmm, for a freebie "fun" shot for the newlyweds maybe a Viking ship, or a sea monster, or maybe some mermaids from the water in that landscape shot. :-P Definitely a dramatic sky that's open for all kinds of things. ;)

Great colors and shots. Love the use of the starfish and shell for the ring shot.

B&G can slap the fella in the back row that wasn't willing to give them their moment of the ceremony and instead had to pull out his phone for a shot!...Ocean, groomsmen a hottie in the row over...who knows. :)

I'm curious about the kid in the bright neon green. Is he providing structural support? Another task?

Regardless...great photos as always!

Structural support to help support the arch. I loaned the decorator two of my sand bags as well but the damn thing was still wanting to blow away.

That's amazing! Looking through the EXIF I don't think one photo has the same settings. How do you manage to work through the settings in such a fast pace as a wedding?

It's really not difficult. I dial in the aperture I want to shoot before bringing the camera to my eye, then adjust ISO and shutter speed for the ambient light. I can usually get pretty close to proper exposure without having to look thru the camera. After hundreds of thousands of exposures, you pick up a knack for it. :)

Turned out pretty good. I bet you were in editing wishing that kid hadn't worn a safety green shirt! lol
Cool idea for the ring shot, would be better to see the diamond though.
