I am wanting to purchase these to use with my 580 EXII and 580EX.
I have read and even Pocket Wizard recommends different mounting solutions or a special "sock" they sell because of "noise". Is this a real issue?

gonzogolf dumb remark memorialized More info | Jul 02, 2015 22:14 | #2 There is no reaon to buy that flawed system when you can purchase more reliable ETTL triggers for a fraction of the price. That system was a major hit to pocket wizards reputation, and they've never quite recovered. Look at the YN 622c and the YN622tx, or simioar products from phottix or cactus.
