I was at Snyder Park in Fort Lauderdale with my new 100-400mm lens, hoping to see more that the usual cardinals, blue jays and mocking birds. Fortunately I came away with images of Cape May Warbler, American Redstart, Black-throated Blue Warbler and Pine Warblers. A good day's outing I think.

Ya think?:-D I would call it a good day. Now you have to get him on TOP of the limb, not behind. :-) Chasing all those little ones around probably about wore you out, I bet.

Thanks. I waited patiently for the "perfect" shot but it was not to be.

You speak as if you were there because that is exactly what happened. I was chasing birds in a very small area (about 4 trees) for nearly 3 hours.
