I have all Manfrotto tripods and heads like the 468MGRC2 however I have 2 other pieces that will only use an Arca Swiss style clamp

1). the first one is a camera plate from Promedia Gear PBX3 which they say is Arca Swiss compat - http://store.promediagear.com …-Bracket-Plate-_p_76.html (external link)
2). Carry speed strap which they also say is ready for Arca Swiss http://carryspeed.com (external link)

The question is this, I know I can remove the plate and replace it with an Arca Swiss style plate but which one is the best fit for my 2 exceptions, I heard the Manfrotto MSQ6 is not guaranteed to work with all Arca Swiss type plates so this may be out of the running?

So beats me what my options are here, I see Kirk has a SQRC-3157 http://www.kirkphoto.com …_Quick_Release_Clamp.html (external link) that snaps into the existing Manfrotto quick release which means nothing to change I think, but again is it any good with Arca Swiss compatibles and I read on B+H that it needs gaffer tape to work right!

Need Help ASAP

I use the Kirk SQRC-3157 with my manfrotto 055XPROB and 488RC2 head, it's rock solid and was fine with my 5D2 + 5D3 kirk l plates and with my existing Markins l plate

Some of the reviews said that it was not rock solid, see my link above
