My parents cat :-)

I tried a portrait today of my parents cat to check focus () I liked the outcome, so let's post it here for maybe some tips.

Nice photo. How did you do your "matte" and signature?

Rather easy.
I enlarged the canvas size 0,5cm and painted it black. Than enlarged it 2 cm and painted it brown and added some noise to that area.
Signature is just the BRUSH font.
