Thanks folks. After I did the spooky-motel-headstone I thought of the idea, but the project had to wait for the weekend. 2001 is my favorite movie.

Here's one more. This is the one that I envisioned when I first thought of the idea, but I think that the monolith is too small. I'm not sure which is my favorite one, I guess the one featuring the discovery by the Man-Apes.

Thanks Renata, I had a lot of fun working on these this week. I know that only one entry is allowed for the judging, so Benitoite can choose whichever one he wants to judge(good or bad) or none of them, it's his choice. I just enoyed the challenge!

I really appreciate all the entries so far! A few more hours left for anyone to jump in!

Alright! I really enjoyed watching the edits roll in, they were all wonderful, but BUMPINTHEROAD takes the cake for a beautiful rock image, and excellent editing into the moon scene.

Before and After - The Weekly Editing Challenge
...now compiled into a single, easy to locate thread, that can be added to your subscribe/follow list!

Rules are simple:

• Download the image file from the current week
  
• Contestants will have 7 days to edit the image and post their edited version to the thread (1 entry per week)
  
• The owner of the original image will choose a winner
  
• The winner will copy & paste this post and include a new downloadable image link

  The new image must be unedited / SOOC (straight our of camera), full-resolution, and in a RAW format, ie. CR2, DNG, TIF, etc (Dropbox works well for uploading and linking these large files)

Straightened, got rid of the cars, then tweaked colors and contrast to taste.
