Let see.
1- First step was sharper the image in Piccure+ using +18
2- Denoise the image in PS CC with Topaz DeNoise filter
3- Topaz again but this time clarity
4- Eliminate the concrete floor in PS using patch tool.
5- Eliminate the old sky and wires in PS
6- Use a new nicer sky
7- Export to Lr for final colors and punch.
8- back to PS for some burn and soft the background.

Some geometry adjustments, composite of tone mapping results, sharpening, denoise, and some extra deconvolution here and there.

In Photoshop CC . . . adjusted white balance and exposure. Cranked up clarity. Boosted contrast. Noise reduction (Imagenomic Noiseware plugin). Patched cement block. Hummed and hawed a lot about what to do with the wires. Removed the wires. Undid removal of the wires. Looked at the other entries. Decided to go dark and kind of gloomy as several appeared bright and happy. Added dark contrasts (Nik Effects plugin).

Its creative and i applaud you for that. But i have to disqualify this image as youve already posted one.

Most of us just ignore that "1 entry only" rule. It's a lot more fun to have more entries. The more the merrier, I say.:-D

AH, I wasn't sure how strict a rule it was. My first time playing along and subsequently first time getting to judge!

Deleted my post about it. So he has 2 edits. Sorry

I guess it's that time. First of all props to all who did replace the sky. The feel silly for not even considering that. I've done it before, just never thought to for this image.

Congrats rrblint! I like the B&W touch. It solves the issue with the poor color on the engine!

Mozes special mention for your second edit sir! I've never seen smoke coming out of a diesel engine, but your thinking out of the box on that edit. It's creative and I like that!

Congratulations, rrblint! And, to Mozes for the special mention.

I look forward to the next challenge that is served up. :)
