RDWP Goldmember More info | Apr 10, 2023 22:38 | #4457 I turned to the Clone tool, which I find pretty fair with its preview function. This pic was a fussy one to work on - especially around the upper lip. The hair was difficult too - hard to find a matching sweep / direction to use. Resorted to vignetting to help hide the outer bits a little. Image hosted by forum (1205175) © RDWP [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. 2. Then I applied the "Face Enhancer" (in Supersharp tool) to the image as it was above, and got this. Really smoothed out the face and covered some of my less-than-ideal clone work, but changed her looks in the process. Odd around the mouth, too. Overdone but kind of neat; makes her look rather "AI". RDWP Goldmember More info | Thanks Martin. I've used the NEO Face Enhance switch on some other photos (e.g. family snaps) and it is usually right on, looks-wise, especially when the faces are smaller in the frame, or there's some motion/soft focus. ... and, from the good old days, Canon F-1n, FTb, Mamiya 645 (m1000s), etc. -- Rob

Stiga Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 12, 2023 05:35 | #4464 Second attempt. Instead of using the healing tool to zap the grass seed head, I used the polygon tool to select it and then content-aware replace. The result is not perfect but is better than my first attempt. Martin

I knew it was going to be a PITA and it was. That's the reason that I avoided it the first time round. I just, very painstakingly chipped away at it using PL6's new Repair/Clone tool switching back and forth between repair and clone. Then I cleaned up the seams using the same tool. It really is an amazing tool and allows the repair/clones to be applied in layers. Very useful! Mark
