Before and After - The Weekly Editing Challenge
...now compiled into a single, easy to locate thread, that can be added to your subscribe/follow list!

Rules are simple:

• Download the image file from the current week
  
  
• Contestants will have 7 days to edit the image and post their edited version to the thread (as many entries as you like)
  
  
• The owner of the original image will choose a winner
  
  
• The winner will copy & paste this post and include a new downloadable image link

  The new image must be unedited / SOOC (straight out of camera), full-resolution, and in a RAW format, ie. CR2, DNG, TIF, etc
  (Dropbox works well for uploading and linking these large files)

Edit: Some have had troubles, so adding more download options. To download just click download and then in the popup select "No thanks, continue to download"

Hmm, newbie here. I thought I'd give it a shot but when I tried to open the beach scene with DPP v3.14 and it tells me that decoding failed...??? Is it that I need to update to v4.0?

ETA: Looks like the file is a good bit larger than the CR2s from my 6D...might need the newer version of DPP for it....

Yes, the file is from a 5D Mark IV.

This is what I get and then this in PS. When I click on the adobe link, it gets really messy. I screwed up my system and it took a while to uninstall the crap

You shouldn't need to install anything. The erro in PS is probably because it can't read 5d Mark IV Raw file ?

I've joined drop box and uploading there, also i'll try and convert the raw to dng then you should be able to use that I think.
