Sep 01, 2015 20:54 | #107 Ok, first I "faked" bracketed exposures in Lightroom. Then I merged them all to HDR in Photoshop. Tweaked colors a bit. Removed bird using the clone tool. Lastly, cropped. Sep 07, 2015 22:03 | #108 I've had a few days to consider all the submissions and, again, it was a very hard choice. In the end though, cropping to remove of some of the distracting elements and exposure adjustments that brought the structure of the bridge up kept me coming back to Benitoite's edits. The purpose of this game is to be creative and learn new editing techniques. You must give some insight into exactly how you went about editing the image. For example, increased shadows sliders, reduced highlights, local sharpening, white balance adjustment, specific filters used, tone curve adjustments, etc. Comments and/or questions regarding the edits are encouraged. Sunsets by themselves are hard; anxious to see what other come up with. Replacing my Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24mm, Canon 17-55mm, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 150-500mm with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. I still have the 17-55 and the 30 available for sale.

itsallart Cream of the Crop More info | Sep 08, 2015 15:15 | #116 Here is my version. I applied some selective color adjustments, cropped and really wanted to highlight the reds at the bottom of the clouds the mid-tones with their lovely golden and magenta hues. Enhanced the foreground to add extra depth. High pass filter to finish it off.. Image hosted by forum (746901) © itsallart [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW.
