We don't call them stink bugs over here but I can understand how they get their name. The other day I was taking shots of a green shield bug and it suddenly took off and landed on the side of my nose, I put my finger to my nose to try and remove it and it released it's stench, it took me umpteen face and hand washes to get rid of the smell!
