Mount Royal. Frisco, Colorado.

Hiked this peak this morning. Summit is just shy of 11,000ft. Definately the hardest hike I've been on to date. Very steep. Pitch black when I left so I could make the sunrise. Got there just in time. Not really a sunrise due to the clouds but I got a little color in the horizon. Let me know what you guys think.

#2 for me. Frisco's a cool little town. Hope you enjoyed your stay.

I did thanks. I liked it a lot. Smaller than the other resort towns which meant less people but still big enough to have stuff to do. I'd move there if it wasn't so damn expensive lol

I like the second one the best, third one is also nice composition. I'm not overly keen on the processing but that's my personal opinion (are they HDR?). You may also want to clean your sensor - looks like you have a few spots on it.

Thanks man. They all are HDR bracketed from 7 exposures. What spots are you referring to? If you're talking about the second shot amongst the branches I think it had to do something with when I merged them in photomatix. I tried my best to fix it but couldn't get it just right. I'm gonna process some single frame shots "non HDR" style and post them up to see what you think.

Have a look at shots 1 and 2 - right in the centre of the sky, you can see a spot in exactly the same place on both images. Shot 2 seems to have spots on the right hand side of the frame in the clouds. Looks like dirt on your sensor rather than a result of HDR processing. Try shooting a few frames against a white background and checking it.

You know what you're right. Good eye. I didn't even notice those when processing them on my Mac. Thanks!
