Did the upgrade make a difference in your images? I've read that the high mega pixel count will bring out flaws in lenses and bad shooting techniques. IMO and if true, that is a good thing as this will allow you to improve technique, produce better photos, and be a better photographer. I'd like to hear your thoughts on what (if any) the high MP count has done to your photography? Also, feel free to add what camera you upgraded from and a brief comment comparing the two is welcomed.

My main reason for wanting the 5DSR is to have the option to print large and option to crop while still maintaining a good resolution.

If it matters, I mostly shoot landscapes with a 5D2 & have a 7D2 when I need speed (nature, sports, walk around). The 5D2 would be sold after the upgrade.

Thank you for any feedback.

I think all you need to do is wander thru the pictures these camera's are producing:

and some over at FM forums... Yes, it does make that much difference.

Reminds me of how much better the 7D2 files are vers my old 50D, only on steroids.

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.
