Hey folks, I recently bought a used Really Right Stuff TVC-23 and love it for my short height and payload. The dude I got it from bundled the leveller which is awesome!
Anyways, one thing that has been bugging me is the mushroom-like rubber feet. it seems to be slipping a lot on smooth or relatively smooth ground: parquet wood floors, marble and normal polished concrete.
Now I've only had three experiences with non-video feet tripods (a manfrotto 190CX3, 535 and a friend's Gitzo 2 series)... but I don't recall any of them slipping so badly without any significant weight on them compared to the RRS.
Maybe the stock feet are better for outdoor use, but just in case... is there a way to replace the feet with something else? Perhaps like a Gitzo foot or similar?
